Just another Friday night.....

We needed to go to the store tonight to pick up a few things for Breanna after I got off work. She is leaving us next week to go on an 8th grade retreat. She is super excited to get away from us I'm sure. If anyone would like to quickly write her a letter or note let us know because we are sending them with the teacher to camp on Monday. You can email them to me if it's easier :)

Right I'm laying in bed with Jonah and Danny is running around the house trying to keep Nate out of trouble. I think he's done with him today......haha!

Is anyone going shopping the day after Thanksgiving? I volunteered to work on the holiday and we are going to cut down our tree the day after.

My grandpa is out from Arizona and staying at my parent's new place so I'm hoping to be able to see him while he's here this weekend but I also work so we will see. Hope everyone has a great weekend. What do you have planned?

Only 3 years....

Ok so yesterday I mentioned that it was our 3 year anniversary which doesn't seem to do us any justice cause we have actually been together for 11 years!! That sounds so much more of  a representation of us cause I feel like we have been together FOREVER!!! God, I wonder what 25 or 50 years feels like!

Another dr. appt concern

So it just popped into my head today for some reason a part of the conversation we had with the Dr. about Jonah and feedings. He said his weight was fine but that because he was not tolerating any formulas so far, and the fact that he was premature,we should wait until he is at least 6 months to introduce any solids. I was planning on doing this anyways but anyone else deal with this? If so, what foods did you start with? We have had such problems with formula that he is only getting breastmilk.

Keep praying for Kayleigh.......

As you know I have been following the story of precious Kayleigh. Everyday since her surgery one week ago she has been making great progress. Please continue to pray for her and her family. Hopefully going home will be a reality for them really soon!!

I took some pictures of Jonah yesterday next to the outfit he came home in the hospital in. I will post it soon. What a difference!!! Hopefully we will get to take his 4 month pictures tonight. I'm lagging a little bit on this :(

Welcome! I thought this would be a great way to update you all on our family. Not that we are super exciting but hey we'll take what we got!! Just took Jonah to his doctor appt this morning and he is now 16.5lbs and 4 months. I can't believe how fast he is growing. He went from the 1 percentile to the 78th percentile. The doctor is happy because he said that neonatologists like to see preemies put on weight. I guess it puts them further out from all the "preemie" problems which is great for us because the flu season is coming and Jonah can't get the flu shot until he is 6 months which won't be until January. We also went to the store to look for yet more child proof "stuff" but they didn't have what we needed :( Nathaniel is the most active child I have ever been around. Forget birth control pills, shots, etc.....come to my house for a day and enjoy an infant, toddler, and teenager (j/k you know I love my family)!! Breanna has to miss flute lessons today because her school has the day off. She picked the flute to learn at school and now is regretting it so as you can imagine she's not disappointed. Hopefully she can change instruments.
Hope everyone has a great day.
